Statistics: Russian restaurants turnover falls 1.1% in Jan–Mar

MOSCOW, May 3 (PRIME) -- Turnover of the Russian restaurant and catering industry fell by 1.1% on the year to 308.5 billion rubles in January–March in comparable prices, the Federal State Statistics Service reported on Wednesday.

In March, the turnover fell 1.7% on the year but grew 5.5% on the month to 105.7 billion rubles.

In 2016, the turnover of the restaurant and catering companies contracted 2.7% to 1.352 trillion rubles.
